Find an item
Every listing shows its exterior, float value and how its price compares to the market benchmark. The price you see is the price you pay — there is no buyer fee added at checkout.
- 2
Pay
Card, wallet or your Emerald balance. Card details go directly to our payment provider; Emerald never sees or stores your card number or CVV.
- 3
We confirm the payment
An order only moves forward once the payment provider confirms it to our servers directly. Nothing your browser reports can mark an order as paid.
- 4
The item becomes yours
The item is already held by Emerald, so buying it transfers it into your Emerald inventory immediately. There is no trade offer to wait for and nothing that can expire or be declined.
- 5
Withdraw when you want it
Your items stay in your Emerald inventory for as long as you like. Withdraw one and Emerald sends a Steam trade offer to your trade URL — which is also the only step that needs one. Emerald runs no automated trade bots: a person checks and sends every withdrawal, so it is not instant.
- 6
You accept the withdrawal offer
Check the confirmation code shown on the withdrawal against the code in the Steam offer, then accept it. The codes matching is how you know the offer is ours. Emerald verifies with Steam that the item actually moved; an "accepted" notification alone is never enough.
Buying is instant — the item is transferred to you inside Emerald the moment payment clears. Only moving it out to Steam is done by hand. Withdrawals are sent by hand, usually within a few hours and always within 24 hours.
